Jed TanSoftware engineer

Software engineer for the zero to one stretch, and the years after it.

Jed Tan

I build the first version and keep it running: trading screeners, market data infrastructure and finance apps, from the schema to the last pixel. Most recently at HawkFi, before that as the founder of KreiosLabs.

Most of my work is TypeScript and Go, with Python and Rust where they fit. Sometimes dev, occasional trader, always learning.

See the work, or reach out by email.

About

I work where market data meets a user interface: screeners, price feeds, trading systems and finance tools. I like owning a product end to end, from the first schema to the first users, and I have done it as a founder, as the first engineer, and as the product manager.

I studied computer science at the University of the Philippines Diliman. I am interested in quantitative trading, living intentionally, and the never ending cycle of getting better at my craft.

Mostly TypeScript, Go, Python, Rust, React, Next.js, Svelte, Node, PostgreSQL and AWS.
